Dan McIlroy is an internationally and Australian trained Upper Gastrointestinal, Bariatric and General Surgeon. He came to Albury having received world class specialist Upper G.I training at some of the U.K's leading Hospitals. He completed his specialist fellowship training at Kings College Hospital in London in Upper G.I with Bariatric Surgery and then did a further Upper G.I cancer fellowship in Leeds U.K. He delivers gold-standard care, performing surgery for benign Upper G.I conditions including: hiatal hernia repair, anti-reflux, bariatric (obesity) surgery and achalasia. He also manages oesophageal, gastric cancer with selected pancreatic cancer cases. Dan also performs a broad spectrum of general surgical procedures including gallbladder, hernia surgery as well as skin lesions. He is also a fully accredited GESA endoscopist performing advanced interventional gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
